I have pretty good insticts with books but I knew something was off with the repeated slander toward the Law Of Attraction and the idea that hamburgers and cigars are only bad for you if you think that they are. There are plenty of people who already think there is nothing wrong with smoking or a poor diet who end up with health problems. If we are to truly love our bodies as a gift from the divine then we need to show love with good care. I look forward to reading more on Ho'oponopono but it won't be from this guy.
The Hawaiian system is honestly breathtaking. But honestly, i couldn't care less about hearing about how "cool" joe is.If you're looking for an ego-less spiritual read, check out Live Like A Fruit Fly - also on amazon
Responsibility has a new dimension in this book. wrote it because the tradition of these old timers, natives from Hawaii could be lost. I am glad that Mr. Joe V. I love Ho'oponopono, is so simple and direct and it works. I loved it.
I found Vitale's writing style full of his own experiences, and I don't mean a few I mean nearly all of the book is written about him. Could it be that a rich western man decides to go to Hawaii to a man who was willing to give up part of the healing practices of the indigenous peoples for a good chunk of the pie. I was so miffed to see all the negative reviews here about this book as I had already bought the book. I have read one other book of his called the attractor factor and in both of these books Vitale constantly talks about a flash car and what it cost him. NEXT GURU PLEASE. In one part the Hooponopono guru Dr Hew Len says that during a healing session that 'he' should be at Vitale's feet, not the other way around because he was in awe of the man. Actually the book is very boring to read however the concept of Hoonopono was good in itself, I just felt that Vitale was the wrong author to write about this with integrity.
So as a result I look on this with suspicion. I read the book in a day and found it to be one of the most boring, uninspiring self help books I have ever read and I have read literally hundreds. I am indigeous to my country and we guard our cultural practises closely, incase any money hungry people choose to sell them for a profit. I MEAN PLEASE. TELL ME SOMETHING INTERESTING ALREADY. I guess I was one of the suckers who bought this book so Vitale could go and put a deposit on a new 'flash' car. (tongue in cheek).
I thought so much of "ZeroLimits" I purchased several for friends dealing with some tough issues in life. My hope is they will see improvement in their approach to problems.
